Doctor Who: The Girl from Krypton
The sounds of metallic rattling brought her out of a restful sleep.
With a series of slow blinks, the young girl opened her eyes, leaving her dreams of other worlds behind. As wakefulness returned to her, she saw that stray hairs had covered her face while she had slept. The girl brushed these away with a hand which she then committed to rubbing at her eyes as if rubbing away the remainder of her slumber. Even with the early hour, the girl’s blue eyes with a hint of green sparkled. The low-level rattling that had woken her was now replaced with a few louder clangs.
